The International EITI Board in light of the difficult situation caused by the global Covid-19 pandemic recommended that the collection and dissemination of EITI reports be free of any health risks and that audits be performed flexibly. As of 2020, a total of 2,363 companies held 2,642 licenses, of which 1,419 submitted reports online. Mongolian EITI National Council endorsed the Mongolia EITI Reconciliation 2020 or 15th Report, which covered only 60 gold, coal and copper concentrate producers.
